We are seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), to: Review security documentation to evaluate the adequacy of the security plan for upgraded networks. This evaluation shall ensure security solutions are effective and meet all security requirements for processing classified information. Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation. Prepare reports such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages and System Requirements Traceability Matrixes (SR TMs). Demonstrate an understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) that uses the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 security controls.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work onsite 100% of the time.
  • Must hold a current TS/SCI clearance with appropriate poly.
  • Candidates shall have five years ISSO experience, or equivalent systems security related experience.
  • Knowledge of systems functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational system measures.
  • Experience in reviewing security documentation to evaluate the adequacy of the security plan for upgraded networks.
  • Experience performing vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation.
  • Experience in preparing reports such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages and System Requirements Traceability Matrixes (SR TMs).
  • Understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) that uses the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 security controls.
  • Security+ Certification Required.
