ISR Mission Scheduler

About The Position

Leidos is seeking an associate level ISR Mission Scheduler to support a major Air Force intelligence program enabling 16th Air Force and Air Combat Command (ACC) ISR operations across the Distributed Ground Control System (DCGS) Enterprise. This role is central to ensuring manned and unmanned ISR platforms are effectively scheduled, synchronized, and aligned with national, theater, and tactical intelligence requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and 3+ years of experience, OR 5+ years of AF DCGS experience planning, exploiting, and/or analyzing multi‑ISR platform missions.
  • Completion certificate from a commercial, military, or U.S. Government specialized intelligence career field (e.g., Geospatial Intelligence, Signals Intelligence).
  • Familiarity with manned and unmanned ISR platform and sensor capabilities, AF DCGS TTPs, and applicable DoD/IC directives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • TS/SCI eligibility on start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using CHAOS, IDEX, or similar ISR mission‑scheduling systems.
  • Prior ISR mission management or production experience across multiple AF DCGS sites.
  • Strong communication skills and experience briefing senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex operational problems under time‑sensitive conditions

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Headquarters ACC and ISR aircraft units to schedule allocated manned and unmanned airborne ISR missions.
  • Work directly with AF DCGS sites to assess operational availability, deconflict mission timelines, and manage programmed and unprogrammed system outages.
  • Collaborate with DoD and Intelligence Community partners to validate ISR collection and production requirements.
  • Ensure mission allocations and change orders comply with AF DCGS TTPs, Air Force guidance, and IC directives.
  • Apply experience with CHAOS, IDEX, or other ISR mission‑scheduling tools to maintain accurate, timely mission schedules.
  • Leverage prior ISR mission management or production experience across multiple AF DCGS locations to troubleshoot and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Brief senior ISR leaders, provide clear written and verbal updates, and support rapid decision-making in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team to address ISR platform and DCGS scheduling issues in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility mission environment.
