About The Position

The Strauss-Clements Intelligence Studies Project (ISP) at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a student associate (undergraduate or graduate) to support ISP programming. The position is for the Fall 2026 term with the potential to extend for the Spring 2027 term. This is a part-time position with varying hours each week up to 10 hrs/week. The position will be located at Sid Richardson Hall, Unit 3. The ISP Student Associate assists and supports Intelligence Studies Project programming at the University of Texas.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate student enrollment at the University of Texas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Demonstration of professionalism.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Canva.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated interest in intelligence and/or national security.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate events, with occasional events in the evening hours.
  • Assist with advertising events and programs to the UT community.
  • Support ISP team with administrative tasks.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
