About The Position

The Account Manager is a self-starter responsible for sales and sales-related duties as defined in the job description and by the Branch Manager. Those duties include but are not limited to the following: identifying potential new customers, developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, and securing new bid opportunities with both new and existing customers. The Account Manager is a results-driven, problem solving, strategic business partner who best represents ISO Services by understanding the needs of the customer and implementing strategies to exceed their expectations.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work independently.
  • Time management skills are needed to meet deadlines.
  • Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Sage 100, Primavera).
  • Willing to travel (up to 25%, mostly in the territory).
  • Organizational awareness- understand organizational structure, decision making procedures, etc.
  • Candidate must be physically able to climb ladders and stairs, and other activities related to job walks, safety related training, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Promote our safety-first mentality.
  • Present and articulate ISO Services capabilities, company history and our value proposition.
  • Update and maintain CRM database (Salesforce) by identifying, adding and assembling prospect, customer & market information on upcoming opportunities for new and current customers.
  • Promote and embody Ergon's core values: empowered service, purposeful growth, respectful relationships, selfless leadership.
  • Consistently focus on customer relationship strategies.
  • Lead or assist with cost estimating, writing proposals and budget plans, along with documentation of the project to the client.
  • Efficiently manage the allocation of available resources (people, materials, owned equip, rented equip, subcontractors) on all projects.
  • Develop extensive industrial plant relationships in and around the Geismar area west to the Lake Charles area.
  • Plan and coordinate business development activities at the Corporate and branch levels.
  • Secure master agreements from prospects allowing us to qualify and work in their facilities.
  • Consistently focus on customer relationship strategies via attending events, association meetings, etc.
  • Keep the management team fully informed on all aspects of our prospects and customer's needs.
  • Promote our multi-craft culture with the goal of developing our people for more than one craft.
  • Other tasks as directed by the Branch Manager.
