At Nooks, we value innovation, collaboration, and a service-first mindset. ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a Physical Security Specialist to support the US Space Force classified enterprise. This is a hands-on role focused on the execution and sustainment of physical security requirements for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and other classified spaces. The Physical Security Specialist will work under the direction of the SSO and senior security leadership to support SCIF operations, inspections, documentation, and compliance activities. This role emphasizes implementation, coordination, and continuous compliance, rather than program ownership or final approval authority.

Requirements

Experience: 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Physical Security or SCIF operations within the U.S. Defense Industrial Base or Intelligence Community.
Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of ICD 705 and related DoD/IC physical security policies.
Systems: Experience with physical access control systems, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and alarm monitoring processes.
Clearance: Must possess and maintain an Active TS/SCI eligibility. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to follow technical and regulatory guidance.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret basic facility drawings and security system layouts.
