As an ISD Global Support Specialist you will perform work across multiple areas (sites) and providing support to end-users on a variety of issues. Identify, resolve technical problems. Respond to escalated incidents as well as telephone calls, email, and chat requests for technical support from end-users. You will oversee the setup, configuration, troubleshooting, analysis and repairing of computer systems, computer peripherals, mobile devices, and telephones. Install, operate, test, maintain, diagnose, and monitor computer and support equipment operations by using advanced troubleshooting techniques and departmental procedures. You will report to the IT Team Lead and be located in our Columbia, SC office. This is a hybrid role. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma plus 3 years of experience in related IT Field
  • MCSE Certification
  • Experience working with remote control software applications
  • Experience with Windows operating systems

Responsibilities

  • Check IT ticketing system throughout the day and resolve tickets within designated SLAs metrics.
  • Perform troubleshooting to resolve problems within manufacturing production, an office environment, and other sites (if required).
  • Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes to PC, peripherals, telephony, and printer devices.
  • Maintain goals set by manager – Includes Quarterly Reviews.
  • Responsibilities may include network monitoring, change coordination, configuration management, drawing documentation, and hardware/software upgrades.
  • Manage on call/afterhours support for responsible office and manufacturing locations (Where Applicable).
  • Order personal computer equipment and process invoicing using SAP / Ariba (Where Applicable).
