The ICS SCADA Senior Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems at the Nevada National Security Site. This role involves collaborating with control system subject matter experts and operational staff to design, implement, and support security measures for ICS networked systems, while also conducting compliance tasks and security evaluations.

  • Serve as Senior Operational Technology (OT) analyst specializing in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA systems.
  • Assist with determining the security and configuration status of OT/ICS/SCADA systems and components.
  • Research, compile, and analyze technical data pertaining to SCADA and other OT/ICS systems.
  • Assist the ISSM and ISSOs with their assigned duties.
  • Use established standards and practices to solve problems and complete projects.
  • Review Cyber Security threat information and assist with mitigating identified vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct Cyber Security policy compliance tasks such as discovering unauthorized devices and conducting site surveys.
  • Perform Security Test and Evaluations of information systems in support of a security plan.
  • Write basic information system security plans (ISSPs) for OT/ICS/SCADA systems.
  • Complete certification and accreditation of information systems on OT/ICS/SCADA systems and networks.
  • Design OT/ICS/SCADA systems with a security focus, ensuring compliance with federal law and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with outside Cyber Security interests such as Counterintelligence and law enforcement.
  • Assist with data calls, FISMA reporting, compliance scanning, and compiling reports for auditors.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience in a computer-related field.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in Cyber Security.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of basic principles, theories, standards, practices, protocols, and procedures used in Cyber Security.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems, Operational Technology, and/or SCADA systems.
  • Possess considerable organization and project management skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to articulate highly technical processes to a non-technical audience.
  • General understanding of cybersecurity controls used to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Experience working with OT/ICS environments.
  • Understanding of Windows operating system and command line tools, network protocols, and TCP/IP fundamentals.
  • Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification.
  • GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) certification.
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification.
  • GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN) certification.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
  • GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) certification.
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
