The IS Support Tech is responsible for handling the activities and functions of the Compass Intervention Center IS Support Center. Individual is responsible for maintaining and supporting all hospital standard PC hardware, software and peripherals. Serves as the 1st line of support for Compass Intervention Center. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to: Installing, configuring and managing Windows based operating systems, printers and applications. Installation of hardware and software systems. Review software programs requested for work stations, identify proper licensure, and provide installation support. Work with internal clients with to resolve workstation issues. Configure workstations, printers, and other peripherals to operate on the network. Troubleshoot performance issues. Set up IT equipment for end users. Provide assistance as needed. Monitor system backups. Monitor environmental conditions within server room and other pertinent work areas to avoid equipment failure. Monitor cable connections, drops and panels in the system.
