The IS Service Engineer II - Clinical Technology Services plays a pivotal role in advancing the security of medical devices and other clinical technologies across the enterprise. This position collaborates closely with a diverse group of stakeholders — including clinical staff, IS field teams, cybersecurity experts, network engineers, application analysts, and external vendors—to conduct comprehensive security reviews and technical assessments of medical device technologies. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering
• 2 or more years of related experience
• Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes
• Experience with n-tier solutions
• Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and document security architecture assessments for both new and existing medical devices, ensuring alignment with industry cybersecurity standards.
• Partner with Field Services, Cybersecurity, Networking, and Application teams to gather requirements, identify risks, and deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Create and maintain workflows, templates, and technical artifacts that support consistent and thorough evaluation of clinical technologies.
• Engage with clinical and non-clinical teams to understand operational needs and translate them into actionable technical strategies.
• Support the onboarding and integration of medical devices into existing network and application environments, ensuring compatibility and resilience.
• Contribute to the development of lifecycle roadmaps and ensure visibility into enterprise medical device inventory, with a focus on cybersecurity and compliance for network-connected devices.
