About The Position

The IS Project Manager's primary purpose and overall objective is to ensure execution and delivery of project objectives in IS NORAM in adherence with the company methodology through management of all project dimensions: Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Performance. A successful IS Project Manager demonstrates excellent communication skills, cross-functional team communication, emotional intelligence and an outstanding experience in stakeholder management. Primary Duties Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of the company's Quality System. Own corporate and project objectives and key success factors defined during the project definition phase; design the project scope, deadlines, and budget. Define the project plan, including critical milestones from launch to closing, according to selected implementation methodology. Implement the project activities in adherence with project objectives. Define, monitor and report on project costs. Identify and mitigate risks to project budget. Lead multi-culture, multi-site cross-functional teams; coordinate and supervise activities. Confirm resource requirements and discuss necessary adjustments with resource managers to ensure availability. Manage the project risk analysis and manage implementation of associated risk reduction measures. Identify, prioritize and proactively monitor changes that may affect the project. Ensure that all the elements necessary for the success of the project are identified, defined and monitored throughout the project life cycle. Identify and implement change management in response to business drivers. Communicate progress against the objectives of the project to all stakeholders. Contribute experience and insights to the bioMérieux project‑management community. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of project or program management/coordination experience required OR a HS diploma/GED and 6+ years of project or program management/coordination experience required
  • Experience managing large, complex, and diverse projects; managing projects using different delivery models; managing projects with many stakeholders with different/competing priorities; managing projects that impact a global organization
  • Consistently upholds and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMérieux promotes.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally allowing for better collaboration and communication when working across teams to achieve shared objectives
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations in a timely and bold manner
  • Make timely decisions by quickly choosing effective solutions in high-pressure situations for optimal outcomes
  • Participate in a way that enhances team performance and cohesion.
  • Leading without authority through influence and guidance of others towards a common goal by using expertise, persuasion, and personal qualities to inspire action.
  • Skilled in MS Office tools to include but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel (Advanced: demonstrates deep knowledge; manages complex tasks and integrates multiple tools independently)
  • Domestic travel required: 10%, International travel required: 5%

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience in Agile a plus
