About The Position

The IS Operations Analyst 2 - Junior Low-Code Developer position at the Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County involves assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of applications using low-code platforms. Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience that would prepare the incumbent to perform the duties of the position at the appropriate level.
• Three (3) years related experience in information technology systems support or programming.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Orchestrator or similar low-code tools.
• Knowledge of software development concepts, such as databases, APIs, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience or interest in creating automated workflows and optimizing business processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and deploying applications using low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Orchestrator, and ITSM tool SMAX).
• Collaborate with senior developers and business analysts to understand and implement business requirements.
• Build simple workflows and automation processes to streamline business operations.
• Perform testing and debugging of low-code applications to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Provide support for end users, addressing issues and resolving technical problems.
• Document application designs, workflows, and processes for reference and future updates.
• Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance understanding of low-code platforms.
• Stay updated on new features and best practices related to low-code technologies.
