The IS Business Systems Analyst III position at CareOregon is a senior-level role responsible for providing comprehensive business systems analysis. The analyst will define the direction of systems analysis and propose effective solutions that align with business strategies. This role also includes acting as a Scrum Master for various development teams, contributing to the maturation of CareOregon's business analysis model, and collaborating closely with business leaders to implement IS priorities.

  • Lead Agile ceremonies for development teams, including daily scrum and sprint planning.
  • Train others to develop functional requirements for new and existing processes, and create new requirements templates.
  • Perform QA on processes and reports built by developers; improve QA process and documentation.
  • Manage and organize the inbound request queue; communicate status with stakeholders and prioritize requests.
  • Manage request backlog, assignments, and completion; identify blocked items and assist in removing blockers.
  • Facilitate collaboration with diverse groups and individuals; develop and maintain customer relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Engage senior leaders as a thought partner on an occasional basis.
  • Translate routine to complex information requests from internal customers into actionable tasks for analysts and/or developers.
  • Gather and document business requirements, methodologies, systems flow, data flow, and functional system design.
  • Perform existing system analysis and new systems design; represent business units for projects and implementations.
  • Prioritize work for others based on multiple and sometimes competing objectives.
  • Provide project status reports as required.
  • Proven experience in business systems analysis at a senior level.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Ability to train others in developing functional requirements and creating templates.
  • Experience in quality assurance processes and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage request queues and backlogs effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Ability to translate complex information requests into actionable tasks.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and system designs.
  • Experience in healthcare or related fields.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data flow and functional system design best practices.
  • Estimated hiring range $98,390 - $120,250 per year
  • 5% bonus target
