Irrigation Technician
About The Position
The Irrigation technicians install, test, and maintain irrigation equipment including sprinklers, pumps, water lines, and suction valves. Irrigation technicians may also be required to operate heavy machinery for trenching and install wiring systems for water timers. Responsible for mapping out irrigation areas, digging trenches, installing equipment, testing the system, and conducting regular maintenance checks. You may also be required to install electrical timer systems and plumb outdoor water tanks Servicing and maintaining irrigation systems through regular controller programming, system Inspections, repairing, and winterizing irrigation systems. Interacting directly with clients as well as Focal Pointe management Working on a large variety of sites from large commercial sites to small residential customers Conducting routine maintenance checks. Travel up to 30% of the time within the Focal Pointe territory Troubleshooting and replacing faulty parts. Completing progress reports and associated paperwork. Inspecting and loading equipment for the day’s work. Other duties as assigned.
