About The Position

Job Overview: The Irrigation Technician assists with the care and repair of the irrigation system.

Requirements

• Previous experience preferred
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift 50 - 100 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
• Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity)
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
• Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers
• Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the watering of lawns and shrubs.
• Digs trenches for irrigation repair work
• Assist in keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe
• Use all installation tools according to company safety policy
• Maintains, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
• Other duties as required.
