The Irrigation Technician I is responsible for assisting the Irrigation Technician II with the day-to-day maintenance of the irrigation system and golf course in addition to any and all general maintenance duties on the golf course as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent. The position will involve repairing irrigation heads, wiring, piping, satellites, pumps, valves, and troubleshooting. The technician will monitor pump stations and daily water distribution on the golf course in the absence of the irrigation tech, maintain and repair the clubhouse lawn and landscape irrigation system, adjust irrigation head arc and output, and use electronic wire locating devices to locate and repair underground irrigation wiring. The role may also require assisting in various maintenance activities as required.
