About The Position

As an Irrigation Specialist Trainee at SavATree, you will build expertise in irrigation systems and lawn care through hands-on experience and training. You’ll learn how to troubleshoot water and pressure issues, repair and replace heads, nozzles, and valves, and maintain irrigation systems. Additionally, you’ll gain knowledge of turfgrass types, insects, and diseases. In this role, you will: Work outdoors on beautiful properties to ensure healthy and efficient irrigation systems. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems to meet client needs. Learn to identify turfgrass species and common pests or diseases. Apply irrigation system knowledge to deliver high-quality service. Collaborate with field teams and contribute to delivering outstanding client experiences.

Requirements

  • Eager to learn and grow within the irrigation and lawn care industry.
  • Passionate about working outdoors and solving problems.
  • Interested in gaining certifications and advancing your expertise.
  • Responsible, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled in communication, both verbal and written, to understand and meet client needs.
  • Willingness to complete required training to obtain necessary certifications and licenses.
  • Desire to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license for operating service vehicles (CDL a plus).
  • Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
  • These physical demands must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing duties, employees may frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally holding a degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience (preferred but not required).
