Irrigation Laborer Full Time
About The Position
Conserva Irrigation is a locally owned irrigation company specializing in installation, maintenance, repair, and system upgrades for residential and commercial properties. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliable service, and long-term customer relationships. We are seeking a motivated and physically capable Irrigation Laborer to join our field crew. This is an entry-level, hands-on position with strong growth potential. You will begin by assisting with daily irrigation installations and repairs. After approximately 6 months to one year of proven performance, dependable employees may have the opportunity to train as a Jr Technician, completing work orders and become a Jr Sales Technician conducting customer consultations, designing irrigation systems, and closing sales.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions (lifting 50+ lbs, bending, kneeling, digging)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to shop and job sites
- Strong work ethic with consistent attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to learn and follow direction
Nice To Haves
- Experience in landscaping, construction, plumbing, or irrigation
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills and customer-friendly attitude
Responsibilities
- Assist with digging trenches and installing new systems
- Load and unload trucks with materials and equipment
- Troubleshoot basic irrigation issues under crew leader guidance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely
- Interact professionally with customers and team members
