About The Position
For over 40 years, ArtisTree Landscape & Design, a proud member of the Sunrise Landscape family, has been a leading commercial landscape maintenance, design, and installation company serving Florida with an unwavering commitment to service excellence. We are experiencing exciting growth, both organically and through strategic acquisitions, and are looking for a motivated Irrigation Installation Technicians to join our Installation team at our Venice, FL office. As an Irrigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in the initial installation of irrigation systems, directly addressing our clients' needs. You will work as part of a team to ensure efficient and high-quality installations, contributing directly to our continued success. This position offers the chance to grow within a dynamic and expanding business. You will report directly to the Irrigation Manager of a branch and/or region and will be based at our local branch office in Venice, FL.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician.
- Comprehensive knowledge of irrigation system components, installation techniques, and best practices.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.
- Excellent ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and specifications.
- Strong understanding of water management principles and efficient irrigation practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install new irrigation systems for commercial properties, including layout, trenching, pipe installation, valve assembly, and sprinkler head placement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex irrigation installation challenges.
- Read and interpret irrigation plans and specifications accurately.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Communicate effectively with the Irrigation Manager and other team members.
- Operate and maintain company vehicles and a variety of irrigation installation equipment safely and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
