Irrigation Crew Member
About The Position
The Irrigation Crew Member is responsible for installing and maintaining drip and sprinkler systems, including updating old systems, winterizing, and spring startup. This role involves repairing and inspecting lines, valves, and sprinklers on underground lawn sprinkler systems, as well as troubleshooting computerized systems, irrigation controllers, solenoid valves, and various sprinkler heads. The position requires operating equipment such as tractors, excavators, trenchers, power tools, and hand tools for line installation. Additionally, the crew member may be involved in operating snow removal equipment and shoveling snow and ice from designated areas. The role reports to the Irrigation Supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Installs/Assists in the installation of drip and sprinkler systems and updates old systems
- Maintains irrigation systems, including winterizing the systems and starting them up in spring
- Repairs and inspects lines, valves, and sprinklers on underground lawn sprinkler systems
- Troubleshoots computerized systems, irrigation controllers, solenoid valves, and sprinkler heads of all types
- Operates tractors, excavators, trenchers, power tools and hand tools to install lines
- May operate various snow removal equipment and shovel snow and ice from designated areas
- Performs other duties as required
