As an Irregular Warfare Analyst, you’ll bring your analytical, strategic, tactical, technical, DOTMLPF, MDMP, and JCIDS expertise to work on projects for DoW and the Joint Force to support future force development and design initiatives. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes associated with Irregular Warfare activities and future concepts and capabilities to support Irregular Warfare development. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with irregular warfare, including strategic level policy analysis, joint special operations, stability operations, civil affairs, counter threat finance, military operations, military forces, interagency coordination and synchronization mechanisms, the Joint Strategic Planning System, the Joint Staff, and USSOCOM roles and responsibilities
  • 4+ years of experience supporting the DoW
  • Experience writing for and briefing DoW leadership at senior levels
  • Knowledge of Joint Force Development and Design processes and initiatives
  • Knowledge of DoW and Joint Staff authorities, processes, policies, and capabilities
  • Ability to develop presentations, including client-ready reports, assessments, briefings, and information papers
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting SOF elements
  • Experience supporting wargaming or TTX development and execution
  • Knowledge of DoD strategic planning processes and interagency processes, policies, and capabilities
  • Master's degree in International Relations, Foreign Affairs, Security Studies, Public Policy, or a related field
