About The Position

Ironworkers- Welder - Nuclear position involves fabrication and installation of pipe, duct, structural steel, and pipe and duct supports at Surry Nuclear in Surry, VA. The role requires working 40-50 hours per week on a day shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 Plus Years of Welding experience
• Must pass the local plant Nuclear Clearance
• Medical & Fitness for Duty clearance
• Weld Test Proficiency test
• Able to work in a team
• Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed
• Experience stick welding in all positions
• Steel erection experience
• Experience installing Ibeams and Columns
• Laying decking and erecting bar joist
• Must be able to pass nuclear background check and drug test
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Nice To Haves

• Nuclear badge within the last 364 days preferred
