About The Position

Seeking structural welders for our project in north of Phoenix, AZ. Must have at least 3 years' experience as a structural welder on commercial and/or industrial construction projects, must pass pre-employment drug test, must be available for either day or night shift, and must pass weld test. Weld test is 1" carbon steel plate in 2G, 3G, and 4G position using 7018 rod, coupons will be x-rayed. Pay is $34/hour plus hourly cash fringe benefit payment. Per diem / subsistence is not offered for these positions. Work schedule is 5-10's with the possibility of additional overtime, and anticipated duration is 2+ months. Join us as we strive to be the most skilled builder in America Job Summary Plan, lay-out and perform all types of structural steel erection and fabrication work in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. Must have the ability to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman.

Requirements

Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards and effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
Must have a minimum of three years (level I), four years (level II), five years (level Ill) and six plus years (level Sr.) experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry and have an in-depth understanding of the ironworker trade.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
