About The Position

The Iron Worker I is responsible for completing tasks related to structural iron and steel erection and completing the tasks in a timely, quality manner while maintaining safety and productivity.

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma
• Ability to work at heights in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background check and do a drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks during long shifts.
• Skilled in math which includes adding and subtracting fractions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in work area layout, assembly, and installation of structural steel. May include taking measurements, assisting with setting up rigging, unloading and shake out of material.
• Install safety line and posts.
• Clean work area and assist in keeping it safe.
