Join our team and help build engineering solutions that change the industry. Job summary: The Iron Technician III provides assembly and testing of various mechanical components of valves. Additional Information: Starting Pay: $27.10/Hour. Can be adjusted with experience. Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM , currently working 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM, rotating schedule 10 days on with 4 days off Overtime based on business need Relocation is not available for this position Sponsorship is not available for this position

Requirements

  • One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas equipment
  • Experience with FC style and FLS style gate valves

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to operate hand tools such as hammers, screw drivers, hydraulic torque wrenches and additional specialty tools – including micrometers
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a clean driving record, which generally means: No more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months. No more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming gate valve start to finish.
  • Able to accept equipment from delivery, recommission equipment, load equipment for delivery, complete all associate paperwork, perform quality check, and manage inventory (without supervision)
  • Understand customer requirements throughout the entire refurbishment of pressure control product to produce high quality product
  • Ability to perform final inspection
  • Ability to mentor and train fellow technicians in the refurbishment process
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Exhibit and always advocate exemplary safety culture
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
