About The Position

The position involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality work, and maintaining safety standards in the shop, yard, and field. The individual will be responsible for reviewing and distributing reports, managing equipment check sheets, and completing work orders. The role requires maintaining an orderly facility in compliance with state and federal regulations, servicing cement heads and equipment, and performing various maintenance repairs. The employee will also track equipment movement and prepare necessary paperwork for shipment and inspection. Additionally, the position includes driving company vehicles to transport equipment as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Ability to work on call.
  • Logistical background and experience.
  • Basic computer usage and knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and banding materials including their uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain and perform minor repairs on equipment.
  • Ability to work under physically demanding climatic conditions for long and/or irregular duty hours.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High levels of personal accountability, integrity, and responsibility.
  • Ability to solve problems using logic, judgment, and data.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly review, complete and/or distribute daily reports, equipment check sheets, and work orders.
  • Act as shift leader overseeing work done in the shop/yard/field.
  • Ensure quality work and adherence to all policies and safety procedures.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean facility in compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in servicing cement heads and equipment.
  • Complete all paperwork associated with job responsibilities.
  • Be responsible for the safety of other employees and prevent damage to operating equipment.
  • Clean and maintain high pressure monoline equipment as per company standards.
  • Track the movement of monoline equipment on the computer system and prepare paperwork for shipment and tracking.
  • Keep track of test dates for inspection on monoline equipment.
  • Perform various general and facility maintenance repairs.
  • Perform all job duties assigned.
  • Drive company light-duty vehicles and transport equipment to and from locations as directed.
