About The Position
Clow Valve has an opening for a 1st shift Iron Grinding Utility- Starting Rate of Pay: $25.96; Qualified Rate of Pay: $26.86 Health Insurance Available after 60 days The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include but are not limited to the following: General Clean up of area Lock out and tag of equipment if necessary Removal of excess metal from part by using proper grinding tools Inspecting finished castings for quality
Requirements
- Frequent lifting/carrying of up to 10 lbs, some lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent lifting greater than 40 times per hour.
- Bending/ twisting/ and standing for greater than 8 hours.
- Ability to read and write and understand training and instruction.
- Ability to work in extreme heat.
- Must be able to utilize and work around moving machinery.
- Must be able to utilize proper PPE including: respirator, metatarsal guarded boots, eye protection, hearing protection, apron, gloves and sleeves.
