About The Position
What You’ll Do Perform basic and advanced donor and patient testing to determine donor–recipient compatibility. Interpret results, resolve compatibility issues, and provide reference and consultation support to hospitals and transfusion services. Key Responsibilities Perform and interpret routine and complex serologic testing Resolve testing irregularities and compatibility issues Coordinate receipt, processing, and shipment of blood samples Maintain accurate documentation, records, and quality control Manage reagents, supplies, and lab equipment maintenance Support workflow, training, and problem resolution for team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or Chemistry
- MT(ASCP), BB(ASCP), or equivalent certification required
- State licensure if applicable
- 4+ years of related lab experience
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in refrigerated environments
- Wear required PPE
