About The Position

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's program in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, management, and support of IRIS Database instances on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
• Request new servers from the platform team.
• Work with operating systems teams to configure new servers.
• Create Bash shell scripts and/or IRIS ObjectScript routines to facilitate the configuration of the database servers and migration of application instances.
• Request and install ssh certificates.
• Support application teams in configuring the database environment, including web service configuration and security settings.
• Assist in setting up backups and other database and monitoring processes.
• Participate in initial orientation to set up/configure an IRIS instance on the workstation and acclimate to the InterSystems IRIS IDE and development.
