About The Position

Works with the Radiologists and other personnel to provide diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Special Procedures and other areas within Diagnostic Imaging. SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff. SUPERVISES: Functional supervision may be exercised over cross-training Radiologic Technologists and/or students.

Requirements

• Completion of JRCERT approval formal program in Radiologic Technology.
• One year Radiology experience (unless approved by hiring facility leadership team at point of hire).
• Current Certified Radiology Tech (CRT)
• American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• CPR required.

Nice To Haves

• Three years special procedures.
• Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI)
• ACLS
