About The Position
Responsible for performing radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiology
- 3 or more years hospital experience.
- Possession of current Texas State registration and ARRT
- Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures
- Certification in Specialty
Responsibilities
- Performs special radiographic procedures according to policy and procedure under the general supervision of the Radiologist and/or Cardiologist
- Demonstrates proficiency in operating Angiography and/or Cath lab systems, injectors, PACS, etc.
- Demonstrates proficiency with intracoronary ultrasound machine, rotoblader and Laser console set up
