About The Position

Under general supervision, performs routine diagnostic procedures and may have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees, with the knowledge, intensity and responsibilities as specified on the attached Job description/Performance Review. To identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age specific needs. Willingly performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

• AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• NYS license/registration or eligible
• ARRT certification (must obtain within one year of appointment)
• Minimum of one year progressive technical experience
• Current CPR certification required
• Registration certification for Contrast Injection (must obtain within 3 months of appointment)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic procedures
• Train and lead the work of other employees
• Identify each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs
• Perform other duties as requested
