About The Position

Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. IQL Generalists help assist with this cause by making sure our customers receive quality product. They will be on their feet most of the shift, walking on the dock looking for and removing damage from inbound pallets. Taking pictures and filling out forms.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role
Compliance with all company policies and procedures
Ability to read, write and speak proficiently
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Ability to work in a variety of temperatures
Drive, motivation, and passion for providing excellent customer service
Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
Ability to present self in a courteous, polite and professional manner
Must be able to work to the end of shift to include necessary overtime in order to meet business needs
Must be willing to assist in other departments based upon business needs

Responsibilities

Assisting with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, organizing and storing inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment
Inspecting inbound and outbound pallets for quality, pest and platform issues
Manually stocking cases of product into warehouse racks
Taking pictures and filling out claim forms
Manually lifting pallets to move into place
Operating an electric pallet jack to transport pallets of product from inbound trucks
Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse
Ensuring accuracy in documentation and record-keeping for warehouse inventory management
Performing duties of Warehouse Clerk
Recording daily actions by use of Radio Frequency Computer Terminal
Performing other duties as assigned
