About The Position

McCain Foods is accepting applications for a IQF System Operator is responsible for ensuring that quality potato products are packaged efficiently while meeting quality specifications for those products. Also responsible for the efficient use of packaging supplies and equipment, and for the supervision of line personnel.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is required.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as an Operator in a manufacturing facility is a plus

Responsibilities

Sets up, operates and adjusts IQF processing equipment as necessary.
Monitors and adjusts speed and temperature of blancher.
Monitors and controls the product line flow to specialty lines.
Defrosts chiller and performs shift line clean up that meets requirements.
Communicates changes for product load requirements for the specialty lines to all appropriate personnel.
Inspects and records the quality of product.

Benefits

Hourly rate: $22.01 - $24.46
$1.50 shift differential for graveyard positions.
