About The Position

The IQC Technician position at Jabil involves leading and motivating a team of inspectors to ensure compliance with inspection standards for incoming materials. Requirements

• Mid-level experience in quality control or inspection roles.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Proficient computer skills, including Windows operating system and Jabil's software packages.
• IPC-A-600 Acceptability of Printed Boards certification.
• Basic knowledge of 8D, A3 methodology, and Quality Tools.
• Ability to present information effectively to various stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP system for inspection processes.
• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of IQC inspectors to ensure compliance with inspection standards.
• Act as a liaison between IQC inspectors and Quality Supervisor & SQE.
• Design and coordinate effective containment actions for supplier quality issues.
• Validate supplier corrective actions and their sustainability.
• Coordinate First Article Inspections (FAI) for materials with corrective actions.
• Assign and change Inspection Plans in SAP for incoming materials.
• Provide timely data to SQE.
• Assist Supervisor in completing tasks assigned to the team.
• Perform incoming inspection activities as necessary.
• Train new IQC inspectors on processes and requirements.
• Monitor task status and assign routine tasks to inspectors.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions and company policies.
• Record inspection results accurately in SAP.
• Escalate issues and quality trends to department leadership.
