About The Position

The In Process Quality Control (IPQC) Technician at ZT Systems is responsible for ensuring the quality of final products during the production process. This role focuses on defect prevention and involves day-to-day inspections to meet production metrics. The technician will perform visual inspections, create reports, and escalate issues as necessary to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• High School diploma or higher
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
• Attention to detail with a high focus on quality and process/product improvement
• Possess a high level of integrity and strong work ethic
• Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, and stand for extended periods of time
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 30 lbs

Responsibilities

• Setup inspection area and verify tool/equipment setup (torque spec, ESD control, etc.)
• Verify Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Implement 6S actions, knowledge, and procedures
• Perform visual inspection of 100% of final products
• Identify issues and corrective actions on a real-time basis
• Create a report for each final product inspected
• Conduct audits based on requests from leadership
• Escalate issues impacting the production process to the Lead Supervisor and necessary departments
