Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), sampling procedures, and material handling.
  • Familiarity with basic laboratory and inspection techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Skilled in using inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with unit conversions and technical measurements.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods during 12-hour shifts.
  • Must have visual acuity to distinguish colors and fine details (close vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness and ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality inspections and audits on the production line to ensure compliance with T1 Energy’s Quality Management System (QMS) and technical specifications.
  • Perform various lab tests on in-process samples (e.g., tensile strength, chemical tests) in accordance with the sampling plan.
  • Identify, isolate, and properly label non-conforming products and materials.
  • Read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
  • Operate and maintain precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Prepare and process samples as required for laboratory testing.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and inspection tools.
  • Record inspection results accurately and enter data into the quality management database/system.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Support other quality-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
