The IPM Technician role for our Room Reset team is a time sensitive position requiring cleaning and sanitizing of cultivation rooms after harvest, in order to make them ready for the next population of young plants. It is essential that this is completed 2 days prior to population, in order to allow Maintenance and Fertigation teams to repair or replace infrastructure necessities to stay on production schedule.

Requirements

  • A positive, friendly attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet or seated for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, scrubbing, lifting, kneeling, and repetitive motion is essential for the function of this role
  • Adaptability and a keen eye for detail, especially in documentation and organization
  • Ability to handle potential allergens, irritants, and elevated environmental conditions (such as high temperatures, humidity, and CO2 levels)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with pesticides, cleaning agents, or hydraulic sprayers

Responsibilities

  • Removing all pots, trellis, weed barriers, tags, and other large debris
  • Gathering all smaller, loose debris from tables and floors
  • Meticulously cleaning tables, trellis poles, irrigation lines, sensors, walls and floors
  • Communicating with Maintenance and Fertigation about repairs or necessities for the room
  • Maintaining sanitation equipment
  • Managing inventory of supplies and cleaning products
  • Upkeeping records of room resets and KPIs
  • Being available as a backup spray applicator technician, with full training
  • Removal of all plant waste, cleaning of plant containers, and deep clean harvest rooms post harvest
  • Apply IPM products and beneficial bugs to plants
  • Coordinate application schedules with the IPM Supervisor
  • Follow standard operating procedures for all tasks and projects
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Uphold quality standards, conducting and documenting follow-up inspections to maintain excellence
