About The Position

The purpose of this position is to lead and direct line personnel under guidance from Manufacturing Coordinator.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties.

Nice To Haves

• 5P training.
• Knowledge of HVAC and Keihin systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan Rotations and Training to the SOP for Production Associates to ensure quality products to the customer, smooth production, low scrap, and no rejects.
• Track the time Floaters are working on-line to cover absenteeism and to ensure their complete familiarity of every station and submit a monthly status to the Coordinator and Manager.
• Assist Production Coordinator and Quality Tech with daily activities (Repairs, 5S, Dock Sorts, MRB, Scrap).
• Review Scrap Trends and determine countermeasures to reduce (re-training, part-handling, process change).
• Complete/Confirm repairs and take immediate appropriate action (assign re-training, notify molding/quality, request support from Engineering, etc.).
• Complete RIP sheets.
• Keep Line-running with immediate actions (station assignment, engineering/IT support requests, notification to MO/QC with part issues, and request to coordinator when needed).
• Report production & Scrap in Glovia -- complete shift White-Board with sufficient detail for management to understand.
• Work with QC Tech to train Floaters.
• Other Duties as Assigned.
