As an Engineering Project Manager within the Product Design organization you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation process for one of our iPhone Product Design teams. You help lead a team of cross-functional partners and external vendors to meet the overall program objectives focusing on mechanical engineering design, development planning and validation cycles of new iPhones. Your ability to deep dive into material fundamentals, creatively solve challenging logistics and technical problems, and collaborate and work well with inter-disciplinary teams are key to delivering the best material solutions and products to our customers.
Requirements
- Detailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of manufacturing processes
Responsibilities
- Experience collaborating with and facilitating communication across Design, Engineering, Operations teams and our OEM partners to meet very aggressive schedule, and quality goals
- Ability to independently drive projects though rapid development cycles and deliver a product
- Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision making
- Provide project status across a wide spectrum of contributors to executive management
