Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates • Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus • Up to 80 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off • Up to $3,000 Relocation bonus • Clinical Ladder up to $5,000 Job Summary A Physical Therapist assists patients with returning to a normal pattern of movement and functioning as possible through the use of therapeutic exercise. This position cares for patients from pediatric to geriatric age who are referred for medical and educational services. Responsible for planning and implementing prevention, habilitation, or rehabilitation services including mobility devices, counseling and orientation that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. The Physical Therapist is responsible for communication of care to Physicians, Nurse case Managers, and third party payers.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Active Missouri licensure for Physical Therapy. (Temporary licensure not accepted)
  • Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills required.
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision required
  • Has demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops, and applications of new principles and/or techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters or Doctorate from an accredited program of Physical Therapy
