Requirements

• Focused experience in drafting and prosecuting chemical- and mechanical-related patent applications
• Good standing with the New Jersey Bar or admitted as soon as practicable
• Registered to practice before the USPTO
• Degree or advanced degree in chemical engineering preferred, or degrees in materials science, chemistry, or strong relevant experience
• Strong understanding of chemistry and related principles is a plus
• Excellent academic credentials
• Comfortable working directly with clients
• Strong writing and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

• Managing global patent portfolios
• Preparing opinions concerning freedom-to-operate
