We are looking for a team-oriented leader with Iowa DOT and/or local municipal transportation experience to manage and oversee project delivery, mentor and develop our growing team, and manage and grow client relationships and service. While the primary focus will be on local and statewide clients, the candidate will have the opportunity to support Midwest and national clients and projects through our Central States Office and firmwide transportation practice. This opportunity entails being responsible for client service and growth of our Iowa Practice through project delivery, staff development, and strategic planning. The candidate will support managing assigned project(s), project teams, and client relationships throughout project lifecycles, including developing the scope and technical sections of proposal documents, participating in contract negotiations, and overseeing the delivery of the project plan to successfully accomplish HNTB’s 4 for 4 performance: delivery of quality work, on time, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction on every project. This position proactively manages the budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications in support of project objectives. The candidate may provide high level technical tasks while managing and reviewing design related specifications, calculations, reports and plans, and the candidate will coordinate with internal and external partners including cross-discipline and functional teams to address and problem solve design-related issues or concerns. The Senior Project & Client Service Manager may manage multi-disciplinary project team(s) for one or more mini-mega ($1M to <$5M) projects or mega ($5M to < $25M) projects, or may lead or serve in a key discipline lead role on a super mega (> $25M) project management team. In addition to ensuring 4for4 to our clients through project delivery, the Senior Project & Client Service Manager will support and/or lead our Client Service Teams in strategic planning, client relationship growth, and external engagement.
