About The Position

The Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Travel Program at Genesis Medical Center Davenport East offers experienced nurses the opportunity for premium compensation and maximum flexibility. This role allows nurses to pick up per diem shifts or travel assignments, providing a variety of practice settings and the comfort of working under one employer. The program emphasizes self-scheduling, learning opportunities, and a minimum commitment of two 12-hour shifts per month.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) License to practice in Iowa.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• 18 months of current acute care bedside experience for Med Surg, Med Surg Tele, Stepdown, and PCU.
• 24 months of current experience in ED, OR, PACU, L&D, Mother Baby, or NICU.
• Ability to complete the orientation and training.

Responsibilities

• Pick up per diem shifts at MercyOne hospitals.
• Complete travel assignments as needed.
• Participate in self-scheduling for shifts.
• Engage in learning opportunities to enhance nursing skills.
• Provide care in various practice settings, including Med Surg, Telemetry, and PCU.
