About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IoT/5G Integration Engineer to backfill a critical role supporting our integrated test and production environments. This role is heavily hands-on and will focus on environment stability, API validation, data architecture planning, lab setup, OEM troubleshooting, and end-to-end (E2E) engineering across network, billing, and BSS functions. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver who can operate as an SME across IoT, APIs, and 5G system integrations.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in IoT and/or 5G system integration environments
  • Hands-on experience with API validation, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and telecom/BSS systems
  • Experience working with Splunk for log analysis and root cause investigation
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-system production issues
  • Comfortable working across test, lab, and production environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate across Engineering, Architecture, and Development teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CCRR, Telegence, CAPM, Jasper, or similar platforms
  • Background in OEM device validation and network engineering
  • Experience with automation of lab, API, or BSS functions
  • Prior experience acting as a technical SME supporting architecture and development teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily integrated environment uptime reports and status updates.
  • Perform sanity checks, shakeout testing, and health validations of APIs daily.
  • Identify, test, and validate CSI APIs before releasing test environments for execution.
  • Perform data architecture and planning for 5G environments, with a strong understanding of system integrations.
  • Work with platforms including CCRR, Telegence, CAPM, and Jasper.
  • Allocate and manage SIMs for both test and production environments.
  • Lead and support lab setup and FFA production environment architecture.
  • Build, configure, and maintain test environments aligned with production needs.
  • Deliver fixes first to lab environments, then promote validated solutions to production.
  • Troubleshoot OEM-reported issues by analyzing CSI logs in Splunk to identify root causes.
  • Partner closely with Development teams to drive resolution and remediation of issues.
  • Provide SME-level guidance to Architecture and Development teams during ad hoc and concept testing.
  • Identify design gaps and collaborate with Development to correct and improve system design.
  • Support E2E engineering in production prior to OEM handoff, including: Billing Rating Reporting Network integrations
  • Assist with OEM device validation, network tracing, and troubleshooting.
  • Engineer and validate APIs and support automation of lab and BSS functions
