iOS / Swift Software Engineer (Staff, Principal, Distinguished)
About The Position
We are hiring for a direct client building a next -generation consumer finance platform focused on emerging markets, in partnership with large global distribution partners. The product combines virtual banking and cryptocurrency wallet capabilities, enabling users worldwide to move money seamlessly within a unified financial ecosystem. Stablecoins are transforming cross -border payments and global money movement. This creates a rare opportunity to rebuild financial infrastructure for nearly 3 billion people who lack access to efficient and affordable financial rails. Our client operates as a small, senior -only engineering team with a strong execution mindset and high ownership culture. The company is well -funded, offers high cash compensation, and is based in San Francisco, led by founders with multiple successful exits. Each new hire plays a critical role in shaping the product and technical architecture from Day 1, while contributing to meaningful global financial inclusion at scale. We are seeking a Staff iOS Engineer to lead mobile client development. The team is also building Android and mobile -friendly web applications in parallel, allowing opportunities to expand impact based on skill set. You will set engineering standards, own architecture decisions, and build a highly performant, secure, and reliable iOS application from the ground up. This role may evolve into a mobile lead role across platforms as the company scales.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience building and shipping consumer -facing iOS applications
- Strong hands -on experience developing native iOS apps using Swift
- Experience owning architecture, performance, and production quality mobile systems
Nice To Haves
- Experience building applications for Latin American markets
- Background in financial technology or regulated systems
- Strong design sensibility and attention to user experience
- Full -stack engineering experience with the ability to contribute beyond mobile when needed
