About The Position

EMPLOYEE STATUS: 20 hours a week. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS: To provide mental health services to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Experience working with the population.
• Commitment to ethical and client centered practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, monthly progress reports, billing, pre authorizations and discharge summaries.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as CBT, DBT, and trauma­informed care, etc.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical standards.
• Collaborate with Mental Health Assistant Director, PSR manager, health center staff, case managers, and other providers to provide holistic care.
• Paiiicipate in clinical supervision and team meetings.
• Should be able to function independently with minimal supervision.
• Should be able to provide physical assistance as needed during crisis with individuals.
• Monthly meetings with supervisor or more as needed.
• Support the assistant Director with department administrative duties for minimum five hours a week.
• Other duties as assigned.
