About The Position

Horizon Health is seeking a Licensed Therapist/ Social Worker to work at our IOP at Johnson Regional in Clarksville, AR. This position is responsible for providing direct high quality psychotherapy services to patients in assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment, and discharge planning. The therapist assists patients and their families in understanding and adjusting to diagnoses and potential treatments. This position also effectively participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team and the unit community relations team. Requirements

  • Masters degree in social work, clinical counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or equivalent required
  • Active AR license- LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCPC required
  • 3 years of experience working in mental health

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, emotional well-being, and psychosocial needs
  • Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prepare and submit required reports in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Is a member of the Referral Development Committee. Effectively participates in the referral development process.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care
  • Promote mental health awareness and prevention within the community.
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.
