About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled IOP Clinician to join our Children’s Department. In this role, you’ll work directly with children and adolescents in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), helping them and their families navigate emotional and behavioral challenges through structured, evidence-based group therapy and collaborative care. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related mental health field required
  • Professional CT Licensure required (LCSW highly preferred, will consider licensed eligible LMSW or other mental health license (e.g., LPC).
  • A minimum of one year’s experience working with children or adolescents in mental/behavioral health related setting. Experience is not required to be post graduate.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • Must be able to navigate through electronic health records system (EHR).

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating daily structured group therapy for children and adolescents
  • Managing and maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR
  • Tracking and documenting client progress throughout treatment
  • Collaborating regularly with parents, caregivers, schools, and external providers
  • Preparing clinical reports, evaluations, and treatment summaries as needed
  • Participating in discharge planning alongside program leadership and psychiatric staff
  • Providing clinical consultation to schools, community resources, and internal teams
