Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work or related mental health field required
Clinical experience in a mental/behavioral health related setting preferred.
A minimum of one year’s experience working with adults in mental/behavioral health related setting.
Experience is not required to be post graduate.
Must be proficient in Microsoft 365.
Must be able to navigate through electronic health records system (EHR).
Professional CT Licensure required (LCSW highly preferred, will consider licensed eligible LMSW or other mental health license (e.g. LPC).

Responsibilities

Lead group therapy sessions for IOP clients and carry a small outpatient caseload
Conduct intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and create individualized treatment plans
Provide individual, group, and family therapy, tailoring interventions to meet client needs
Assess mental health status, functioning, and ongoing service needs
Provide emergency assessments and crisis intervention as needed
Coordinate with hospitals, emergency services, and community resources
Serve as a liaison for clients, families, treatment team members, and outside providers
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
Monitor caseload productivity and utilization review requirements
Obtain and track insurance authorizations
