About the position

The IoT Implementation Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing technical and administrative support for globally deployed Internet of Things (IoT) Remote Management Systems (RMS) to enable the services organization to effectively and efficiently resolve customer challenges. This position is part of the Global Service Enablement Team and reports to the Senior Manager and will be fully remote. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate/facilitate instrument connections to the Remote Management System (RMS) by working with cross functional project teams and customers.
  • Review connection prerequisites for each project. Identify hardware requirements and facilitate customer network changes.
  • Manage the process of completing connection to the RMS Database and Application. Verify location, model serial number, etc. and add the instrument to the database.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the installed base and all reporting as it relates to connected instrumentation.
  • Contact customers to remotely troubleshoot and repair connection interruptions. Escalate to technical or field support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with multiple years of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience participating in, coordinating or managing cross function projects.
  • Experience driving Continuous Improvement Methodologies to solve problems, improve processes and drive business results with problem solving tools such as Lean-Six Sigma, Kaizen, Visual/Daily Management and others.
  • Excellent oral and written English language presentation & communications skills including effective utilization of MS Office and virtual collaboration tools such as MS Teams.
  • Demonstrated inclusion, organizational agility and relationship building with impact driven success across all cultures, geographies, and levels in a virtual environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Data reporting, manipulation, process automation, analytics and/or visualization tools (Advanced MS Excel, Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI, Oracle SQL, Python, R, Tableau).
  • Experience in systems administration, Internet of Things (IoT) technology or other enterprise application support including cloud-based Software applications.
  • Prior experience in a service and support role within the Life Sciences or IVD market.
